A Brother of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba urged parents to commit themselves to guide children from going astray.

Brother Laki Charles during his Sunday homily at St Charles Lwanga of St Joseph’s Parish blamed parents for failing to instruct children at tender age making them grow uncontrollable, Bakhita Radio reported.

He advised parents to get closer to their children and guide them so that they grow into responsible adults.

Brother Charles urged grown up adults to look into their own lives and see whether they are fulfilling the responsibility that God gave to them.

The Brother called on South Sudanese to pray to have strong faith, reconcile with one another and embrace peace in the nation.

He preached that Christians need to prepare before God passes judgment to them.
