Western Equatoria Governor on Monday brought elders to Juba to join their age mates from different states to talk about the current conflict and rumours circulating in the social media.
Bangasi Joseph Bakasoro told journalists at Juba international Airport that after peaceful discussions, the elders would pour water to their elderly words of wisdom to realize peace in the young nation, Bakhita Radio reported.
Governor Bakasoro said Western Equatoria is peaceful after the Maridi incident, warning that certain individuals want to capitalize on pastoralists’ case to make big stories in the state.
