The Governors of Equatoria states reiterated their continuous call for federal system of governance in South Sudan.

Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore told the press in Torit that the three governors shared their views with President Salva Kiir Mayardit in Juba and called for freedom of expression as enshrined in the Transitional Constitution and that of the SPLM, Emmanuel Radio reported.

He advised Equatorians to maintain their demand for federalism by persuading the other states peacefully.

The Governor urged South Sudanese to avoid suspecting each other for the betterment of the country.

Governor Lobong said the three Governors dismissed allegations against them and that President Salva Kiir also dismissed allegations of the assassination plot and intentions of dismissing Equatoria Governors.

He described the allegations as strategic planned propaganda of enemies intended to destroy and tear South Sudan into pieces.

The Governor called on citizens to dismiss allegations and concentrate on agriculture and celebration of the third anniversary of independence of the country.

He recommitted to serve the state, protect the people and their property.

The Governor urged citizens to reject people who intend to cause disunity and conflict in the country for their personal gains.
