Global Network for Women Peace Builders International Coordinator urged the national government to identify and resolve peacefully the problems that caused the ongoing violence.
Mavic Cabrera-Balleza expressed concerns about the outbreak of mid December violence and the current security situation in the country, Easter Radio reported.
Eve Organization for Women Development Executive Director Rita Martin appealed to citizens of South Sudan especially women to speak out for their voices to be heard.
She explained that the longer the country continues on war, the more bitter people would grow and the wider the spread of the conflict to the other parts of South Sudan.
The officials were speaking during the start of the two-day workshop on the UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 1820 in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
