Western Equatoria Education Minister disclosed a plan to phase out Sudan secondary school syllabus this year.
Pia Philip Michael said 2013/2014 candidates are the last to sit for Sudan School Certificate exams, Anisa Radio reported.
The minister discouraged learners from watching world cup football, urging parents to care and guide their children to pass their exams well.
He told the learners that their future lies on their hands either to move forward or backward.
Mr Philip warned that nobody would be employed without secondary school certificate.
