Eastern Equatoria Council of Ministers in its regular sitting on Thursday chaired by State Governor Louis Lobong Lojore approved Lorema and Napak as new payams in Budi County.
Four Payams were proposed to be created but Kidepo and Kaliba Payams were adjourned for further consultations because neighbouring Counties have disputes over Payams, Emmanuel radio reported.
The State Information Minister Clement Chichim said the approval of the two new payams followed lengthy deliberations.
He said the Council also took note of contracts performance agreement of civil servants presented by the State Labour and Public Service Minister Stella Lorika.
Mr Chichim said deliberation on presentation of contracts was referred to the next sitting to incorporate inputs from contract performance agreement forms.
