Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese organized a two-day Presbyterian Council meeting at Palica in Nzara.
Vicar General Anthony Bangoye in his opening remarks said it was a joy for priests to come together to share spiritual and material activities in a very humble manner to strengthen their unity, Anisa Radio reported.
He urged the priests to discuss and come up with sufficient implementable resolutions.
Diocesan Counsellor Fr Joseph Migidi said the meeting is expected to discuss self-reliance policy, spirituality of priests their wellbeing and prayers, peace promotion and HIV/AIDS.
He disclosed a plan to put up administrative structure by employing secretaries in the 19 parishes to coordinate work between parishes and the Diocese.
