Yei River County Commissioner in Central Equatoria State expressed readiness to support Youth Associations on agriculture to enhance economic sustainability among young people.
Juma David Augustine explained that Yei lies in the green belt region with fertile soil and there is high need for the county to empower youths, Easter Radio reported.
He called on Payam Youths Association to open a land for crops production for consumption and market to make the young people self reliance.
Mr Augustine revealed that the ultimate goal of empowering youths was to encourage them become job creators and self employees.
He disclosed a plan to establish a great market at Lasu Payam to enhance development.
The Commissioner made the revelation while addressing youths at Lasu Payam on Wednesday.
