Tonj South County midwife in Warrap State on Tuesday encouraged mothers to deliver in health facility centres.
Mary Agau said in 2014 they recorded 80 deliveries in Tonj Civil Hospital, Don Bosco Radio reported.
She said there were 350 mothers who came for antenatal care since January 1 to June 2014.
The midwife said Collaborazione Comitato Medica or CCM facilitates the hospital with medicine supplies, but the demand remains too huge to meet.
Ms Agau said there is a relative improvement for mothers in 2014 compared to the previous year.
She encouraged mothers to keep attending maternal check ups and antenatal care to avoid complications.
