Heiban County Commissioner in the Nuba Mountains called on youths to fight bad cultures.
Mubarak Bulis Tutu said the use of cosmetics by girls for changing their colour is a bad culture and should be abolished immediately, Voice of Peace reported.
He added that chemicals have negative effects on the human health.
Commissioner Bulis criticized some community members and local police appointed to fight drugs’ usage, but end up falling in love with girls who use chemicals.
He challenged boys to refrain from using opium and alcoholic drinks to build a better future of New Sudan.
The commissioner discouraged youths from falling in love with drug addicted partners, saying they have no future.
He also urged youths to fight tribalism in the Nuba Mountains region, calling it a disease brought by the Sudanese ruling National Congress Party to Nuba.
