Central Equatoria State Assembly Member representing Nyepo Constituency in Kajo-Keji County said Juba-Kajo Keji road is in dire condition as many streams remain a challenge to cross.

Dabe Francis Elisama said three main streams need bridges, urging the government to intervene because many people die especially during the rainy season.

He said many women died due to implications during delivery as health facilities are not accessible because of poor roads.

Mr Francis explained that if Juba-Kajo-Keji road was properly constructed it would minimize South Sudan’s dependence on food imported from neighboring countries.

He blamed the government of not following work earlier assigned to companies that put temporary bridges which were easily swept away by heavy rains.
