Juba Teaching Hospital Director General said cholera was decreasing as the number of patients brought to the hospital reduced compared to early days.
Wani Lolik Lodu told CRN in a telephone interview on Friday that they are discharging admitted patients because their situation improved.
He attributed the reduction to health education and good management of patients at the hospital.
Dr Lolik advised the public to maintain good sanitation by washing hands before and after eating with clean water and soap as the only solution to stop cholera in the country.
