Yei River County Drivers Union disclosed plans to start drivers’ registration to create a central body to run its activities.
The Union’s Secretary Bigo Isaac Batali told Easter Radio that the registration aimed to conduct elections; determine the number of qualified drivers as a gateway to work in non-governmental organizations.
He disclosed that the registration would help the Union to establish proper public transport within the town and face challenges affecting drivers along major roads in Central Equatoria.
