University of Juba Vice Chancellor revealed a five-year master plan to develop facilities at Atlabara Campus.
John Akech told journalists on Monday that the University has 12 colleges and four centres, saying the College of Law was the first to possess independent facilities, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said the project was funded by Norway and USAID to the tune of 6.5 million US dollars.
Professor Akec added that the University was relying on government’s support in terms of grants and international development system.
He revealed that they are working for a new semi structure to be more attractive for academicians to join the field.
The Vice Chancellor Juba said half of the academic staffs are part-timers and the tuition fees are used for paying them.
He appreciated United Nations Japanese Engineers Contingent for implementing the Law College project.
