Eastern Equatoria Assembly in Torit on Wednesday started their recess after 36 sittings.
Acting Speaker Paul Napwon said the recess was in line with the Assembly Conduct of Business, Emmanuel Radio reported.
MP Napwon said members during their recess would engage in agriculture and sensitize citizens in their constituencies on the current political crisis in the country.
The last issue the Assembly handled in the fifth session was nomination of five-member committee on Tuesday to petition the Council of State in Juba on Kasengor Payam dispute.
Eastern Equatoria Assembly remembered their fellow MPs: the late speaker Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi, Erene Peter Longole and Mark Lokorai.
The Assembly also witnessed incoming of new legislators: Flora Ikoli and Epone Emmanuel Lolimo.
