Citizens in Juba expressed mixed reaction on the role of the National Legislative Assembly in resolving the ongoing conflict in the country with some calling for quick passing of bills.
John Lemi Stephen said the parliamentarian has to change the situation and speed up the passing of bills, Bakhita Radio reported.
He urged the parliament to enact all bills to allow others do their jobs.
Godfrey Victor blamed parliamentarians for failing to interfere and stop the political wrangle that picked ethnic line after December 15 unrest.
He accused the parliamentarians of failing to caution the two conflicting leaders instead they were entertaining the situation.
Mr Victor questioned why most laws were passed and not implemented.
Another citizen said even if the parliamentarians return from recess, still they will do nothing to change the situation.
He also accused he parliamentarians of not being concerned about lives of South Sudanese instead they pay their allegiance to the ruling party that failed the people.
The citizen added that though lawmakers were on recess, they would intervene quickly to rescue the situation.
The citizens were reacting after hearing the resumption of the National Assembly next week.
