Yei River County Information and Culture Inspector complained about burial disrespect and called on religious leaders to preach the need to respect on the dead ones in the society.
Ephraim Jomo Michael said funeral places turned into celebrations which are against the African cultures and traditions, Easter Radio reported.
Mr Jomo said due to technological development, pianos are now used in funerals instead of traditional drums, requiring an immediate intervention before cultures could erode.
