Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop called on South Sudanese to continue praying for peace in the country.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala told St Mary Yambio parish’s congregation on Sunday that all South Sudanese should pray and maintain peace at every level in the country, Anisa Radio reported.
He stressed that it was the role of every citizen to work positively towards the peace government and opposition signed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and extremely put God in the midst of everything done.
Bishop Hiiboro said the five-month conflict created high tensions of hatred, tribalism, mistrust and left bad impact on the economy of the country.
