A Comboni Missionaries Kario Bangi Parish Priest said most pastoralists are neglected by governments of all levels from accessing development institutions given their location remoteness.
Fr. Filipe Resende said they organized a workshop to share experiences and insights on mission among the nomads, only to discover government neglect of pastoralists.
He added that participants identified convergence and singularities among experiences in different communities of South Sudan.
Fr. Resende said the Comboni Missionaries working with pastoralists especially Dinka and Nuer organized a four day workshop in Juba ending on Friday as a reflection to share experiences and methodologies in the work of evangelization.
The priest said the workshop reflected on missionary methodologies and challenges, facilitating the encounter between the gospel and local cultures.
