Three primary schools were blown off by heavy rainstorm on Wednesday in Rumbek Central County.
The rains started falling with heavy strong wind around launch hour up to 4:00 PM in the evening, Good News Radio reported.
Golmeen primary school was the most affected with four classroom roofs blown off by the rainstorm.
Head Teacher Amos Majak said the incident happened when children were still learning.
He added that the rainstorm destroyed text books, exercises books and removed t roofing iron sheet and wall, exposing learners to more expected rainfalls.
Agergum and Malual-baab schools’ kitchen outside Rumbek Central County were also seriously destroyed together with shops in Rumbek main Market left in tatters.
It is the fourth destructive rainstorm in Rumbek Central County without any preventive action taken.
