In Nzara Women Centre, former Lord’s Resistance Army, LRA abductees underwent three day trauma healing workshop.
41 female LRA abductees acquired trauma healing as they give their testimonies of haunting encounters, Anisa Radio reported.
A Congolese citizen Anihiri Michelin said she was abducted in DR. Congo and rescued by home guards known as Arrow Boys.
Sister Jovana Kalabriah said the training releases feelings of anger the female abductees went through in the hands of LRA.
She added that it was the fourth training organized by the Catholic Diocese of Tombura Yambio on trauma healing to LRA abductees.
Official sources said in May 2014 a regional meeting in Yambio, Western Equatoria State is expected to discuss active mechanisms to help abductees.
