National Health Ministry Guinea Worm Eradication Program Director on Tuesday declared Jonglei, Lakes, Warrap and Northern Bahr El Ghazal States leading in Guinea Worm cases in South Sudan.
Makoyi Samuel told Bakhita Radio in an interview in Juba that the country recorded six cases in 2014 from Kauto Payam of Kapoeta East County in Eastern Equatoria State.
The Director said absence of social economic infrastructures and ongoing conflict remain a big challenge in executing Guinea Worm Eradication Program all over the country.
