The President of the Republic on Friday in a press conference told freed detainees to keep within the country and work for peace.
Salva Kiir Mayardit told the four politicians including Pagan Amum Okiech, Oyay Deng Ajak, Majak D’ Agoot Atem and Ezekiel Lul Gatkuoth to stay within and work for national peace, healing and reconciliation
He called on the public to respect the freed detainees and restrain any bitterness in relation to mid December crisis.
The statement followed court dropping of the treason case against the politicians in what government alleged as failed attempted coup.
