A Juba based transport’s union -Kunyarta Commission Agent Secretary General said they are stopping brokers’ operation in taxi and bus parks soon because it is the commission’s responsibility to care for passengers and their luggage.

Joseph Zachariah Lodu told journalists in Juba on Thursday that brokers were not employed to work in parks and so they overcharge travellers without any authority interfering.

He said the commission would set rules for fair treatment of passengers.

Mr Zachariah added that the commission would organize external transport to all parts of the country including charging of the passenger’s luggage and ensuring its safety.

The Secretary General said they would work in five Payams of Juba including Kator, Munuki, Juba, Rejaf and North Bari Payams.
