A swarm of bees descended upon Saint Barnabas ECSS Cathedral congregation during an open air Easter prayers on Sunday forcing members to abandon prayer services.
An eyewitness said the bees began stinging as the second offertory collection started, forcing the congregation members to run for safety, Good News Radio reported.
The swarm of bees was reportedly disturbed by some young boys from a nearby tree.
The bees chased an estimated six thousand Christians from various churches under the Episcopal Diocese of Rumbek gathered at the main Cathedral to celebrate Easter.
