Yei River County civil society organization forum and centre for democracy and development on Tuesday condemned the act of mob justice in Mugwo payam.
The organization Secretary-General Dara Felix told urged citizens to follow legal procedures instead of taking the law into their hands.
He said the society was concerned about the mob justice that killed a man alleged to have poisoned a person.
Mr Dara called on law enforcing agents to ensure that perpetrators are brought to face justice.
The Secretary-General urged any individual in possession of poison to throw it away and live peacefully.
