African Training Centre Board of Directors chairman said education should be made the first priority in South Sudan on top of food and water to curb manipulation of ignorance by politicians.
Festos Abdul-Aziz argued that the ongoing conflict in the country emerged due to misinterpretation and misunderstanding of politicians by masses as a result of ignorance, Bakhita Radio reported.
He observed that education instils intelligence, confidence and livelihoods’ management skills for practical application in life.
A graduate from African Training Centre in Juba in the field of journalism Robert Lomoro said the training would make him realize his dream to contribute in nation and peace building.
African Training Centre passed out 150 graduates in the sixth graduation held at Nyökurön Cultural Centre on Saturday.
