Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop on Sunday presided over the first Eucharistic celebration of the recently initiated ‘Noble boys and girls of purity’ after 50 day’s spiritual and social training in Yambio.
Bishop Edwardo Hiiboro devoted himself to train children between three to 19 years on how to live Noble and purity life and duties, Anisa Radio reported.
One of the trainers Fr Elia Juma thanked parents for the good turn up of the boys and girls to discuss with the Bishop the way forward.
One of the parents Patrick Peter Mukanga expressed his excitement on the program, calling on the church to allow the Noble boys and girls of purity to tour schools in Yambio town to preach and educate others.
Another parent, Mary Poni said the one-month training created positive attitudes in her daughter as she changed from misbehaving.
The official launch of Noble boys and girls of purity is expected to take on Easter Sunday at St Mary’s Yambio Parish.
