Youth Empowerment and Advocacy Forum welcomed the signed Cessation of Hostilities and the Status of Detainees between the government and SPLM/A in opposition.
The Forum in a statement on Saturday called on the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development or IGAD to put in place mechanisms for the parties to respect the agreement, Bakhita Radio reported.
It urged humanitarian aid organizations to speed up and reach the affected people in dire need of food, medicines and shelter mostly in Jonglei, upper Nile and Unity states.
The Forum appealed to IGAD, international community, the government and the opposition delegations to include youths’ representative in the peace talks.
Youth Empowerment and Advocacy Forum said the youths were committed to peace.
