Yambio County Land Authority on Wednesday issued a public order telling all people residing on public lands including roads, church and government institutions, football fields, schools and hospitals to immediately evacuate.
Commissioner Kuzee John Elias endorsed the document signed by the County Land Authority Acting Secretary Gibson Arona Duga dated January 30, Anisa Radio reported.
The Secretary ordered people occupying Yabongo teachers’ quarters and Yambio ‘A’ and ‘B’ Courts not to invest or build private concrete houses in those plots.
He warned the people against occupying public and government lands in Yambio County.
Mr Aroma clarified that grabbing public places was prohibited and that land lease should be issued with proper verifications.
