Tonj Civil Hospital faces drugs shortage

Tonj South County Civil Hospital Laboratory Technician in Warrap State on Tuesday said Hospital faces shortage of drugs and human resource.
 
Peter Kuot said the hospital has fourteen test but no drugs to treat patients, Don Bosco Radio reported.
 
He said the essential drugs were finished and now they were buying drugs from the market with the little money they collected from patients.
 
Dr Kuot said they treat the poor people, foreigners and guests free because they cannot pay two or five South Sudanese Pounds.
 
The Technician urged the entire Greater Tonj community to prevent themselves from sexually transmission infection.
 
He warned that the Hospital would soon face problems to treat patients if the situation was not rescued.
 
Dr Kuot urged the State Health ministry, and NGOs to help the hospital with drugs.
