Papal Envoy to South Sudan on completed his four-day visit to Juba and returned to Nairobi, Kenya.
Archbishop Charles Daniel Balvo prior to departure, called on South Sudanese to pray for peace and reconciliation as the country witnessed difficult time in the last one month, Bakhita Radio reported.
He called on all people to work for the good of South Sudan.
Archbishop Balvo said he met President Salva Kiir and the Foreign Minister Barnaba Marial Benjamin in his mission formal start.
The Nuncio said he will present his credentials and make regular visits to the Catholic dioceses of South Sudan in near future.
Archbishop Balvo said the Archdiocese of Juba was enthusiastic about his appointment as Pope’s Envoy to the new nation.
