Plan International is conducting a three-day training for 75 officials from different organizations on child protection by-laws in Yei River County of Central Equatorial State.
Plan International Field Officer Stella Keji Fiorentino said the training was for participants to draft local bye-laws to address challenges facing communities including child abuses and forced marriages, Easter Radio reported.
Ms Keji said they consulted community leaders and resolved to come up with by-laws that protect the rights of the children to avoid child abuses.
The training was organized by the Child Protection Committee and implemented by Right to Choose.
