South Sudan Apostolic Nuncio visits Juba

The Archbishop of Juba announced that the Apostolic Nuncio of South Sudan will on Monday visit Juba for the first time.
 
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro said Archbishop Charles Daniel Balvo who is also the Apostolic Nuncio of Kenya is expected to arrive at 3:30 PM and his reception will take place at St Joseph parish, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He explained that the Nuncio will on Wednesday meet with all Archdiocesan church personnel at St Joseph pastoral hall at 10:00 AM.
 
Archbishop Lukudu added that Nuncio Balvo will on Thursday preside over a Eucharistic celebration at St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator at 3:30 PM.
 
Juba Catholic Archbishop called on all faithful to join him in welcoming the Apostolic Nuncio and to pray for peace and stability in the country.
 
Archbishop Lukudu also announced that the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference or SCBC for 2014 will take place in Juba from January 21 to 30.
 
Archbishop Lukudu said SCBC President Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako is expected to arrive in Juba on Saturday.
