Bentiu medical facilities lack medicines

The United Nations Assistant Secretary General for Human Rights said medical facilities in Bentiu of Unity State were lacking medicines.
 
Ivan Simonoviae lamented that he saw medical facilities completely without medicines.
 
He said he witnessed a horror situation and met a mother who delivered a baby without medicines she needed.
 
Mr Simonoviae lamented that amid terrible insecurity, there was also spread of measles.
 
He said the displaced peoplet were in dire need of medicines.
 
Mr Simonoviae said he was shocked in Bentiu and Bor because they became ‘ghost towns’.
 
He held political leaders and military commanders responsible for crimes committed during the one month unrest in South Sudan. 
 
The Assistant Secretary General said United Nations Mission in South Sudan Human Rights Unit was investigating violations.
 
Mr Simonoviae said he was also shocked to see that one month of fighting destroyed economic development.
