Western Equatoria women condemned the mid December crisis that started in Juba and spread to other states.
Western Equatoria Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Hannah Lona Bona on Wednesday said women discourage war and support taking power democratically in South Sudan, Anisa Radio reported.
She reiterated that all the women of Western Equatoria say ‘NO’ to war because they lost men and children in the fighting.
The Deputy Speaker said they were sympathizing with those in the battle fields across the country.
She called upon women to go to school in order to utilize well the 35 percent for women and compete with men in the 65 percent.
