Sacred Heart Parish in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Tuesday commemorated the late Fr John Lee.
The Parish Priest Dominic Kubuya said the celebration started with the mass in the morning followed by volleyball, football and basketball games in the afternoon and concluded in the evening with Fr John Lee film, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Fr Kubuya said the entire community and many young people of Greater Tonj turned up to celebrate Fr John Lee Memorial Day.
He encouraged youths to take the example of the late Fr John Lee’s generosity in South Sudan.
The Parish Priest said the late Fr John Lee was a great musician and taught many young people brass band.
Fr Kubuya made the remarks after the people watch Fr John Lee film in Don Bosco Secondary School.
