Primary 8 exams kick off in Juba

Central Equatoria Education Minister rang the first bell for the start of Primary Leaving Certificate exams on Monday at Juba One Boys Basic School.
 
Hasten Yokwe told the press in Juba that the exams that was postponed due to the political instability mid December, began at 20 centres in Juba and another four in Terekeka, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He added that there are three extra centers for displaced candidates in UN compounds.
 
The minister said those who missed in Lirya are now doing their exams at Juba Girls’ Secondary School.
 
Minister Yokwe said 4,998 candidates are sitting for the exams except four pupils from Mangalla Payam.
 
The minister advised the candidates to work hard until the end of the exams on Friday.
