Central Equatoria State Governor and the Catholic Archbishop of Juba called MPs to love the state and Equatoria region as a whole.

Governor Clement Wani Konga said the setup of the government system in 2005 was wrong, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said SPLA officers after the peace deal were appointed in offices with bad perception and self interests which brought indiscipline in the government.

Governor Konga added that this is the right time to correct past mistakes and the people of Central Equatoria should love themselves.

He warned that if people did not build love for the nation the country would fall apart.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro said everybody must love his or her own vocation.

He urged the MPs to love Central Equatoria State and Equatoria region in general other than loving one self.

Archbishop Lukudu said he like a song composed by a lady titled ”I love Juba and am from Juba, Juba is my home.”

The two leaders made the calls during opening of the fourth session of the Central Equatoria State Assembly.
