Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly on Tuesday opened its fourth session.
Governor Clement Wani Konga revealed his government plan to develop a strategy to fight deficiencies in the state, Bakhita Radio reported.
He called on the national government and development partners to support Central Equatoria to educate and train its civil servants.
Governor Konga urged the parliamentarians to be vigilant and tackle all issues during their deliberations.
The Governor complained that the national government grants allocation was not proportional to the population size of the state.
State Assembly Speaker Naphtali Hassan Gale said the parliament only passed two Policy Frameworks of the ministries of Education and Cooperatives.
He said the Assembly also passed the Bill of Establishment for the Civil Service Commission.
Speaker Hassan said the Girl Child Education Bill 2013 is being processed for tabling while the Insurance Bill was withdrawn for correction.
He said the select committee for gender and human rights already compiled its report and all ministers should submit their reports to the house.
The speaker added that the select committee for finance and public accounts was tasked to assess performance of the revenue collection institutions within Juba.
The Assembly will deliberate and pass into laws the bills under discussion.
