The National Legislative Assembly on Monday postponed the summons session to hear the Interior and Defence ministers over the Twic East attack.
Deputy Speaker Mark Nyipuoc announced the adjournment when the summoned ministers informed the legislature that they did not receive summon letters.
Interior Minister Aleu Ayieny Aleu appeared in parliament, pointing out that he and his colleague Kuol Manyang Juuk did not receive any summon letter.
He added that he came with the anticipation of getting summon in the house, asserting that he was ready to explain in verbal statement if asked to.
Forces loyal to David Yau Yau attacked Twic East County killing about 80 civilians and wounded another 88 in October without any intervention from the army.
