The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Saturday brought together children from six parishes and eight schools to educate them on the importance of listening as they grow into adulthood.
Child Ministry Coordinator Dominica Anthony told Bakhita Radio that the Archdiocese draw the children together to teach them how important was listening to parents and teachers to build their future.
She said her office was working hard to ensure that children were given proper guardians as they grew up and adopt a moral behavior.
The coordinator added that if children are left without proper guidance their future will be messed up.
Ms Anthony said her office brought together eight children from each parish, five from each school and five from the Episcopal Church of Sudan.
She explained that her office was planning to reach the parishes outside Juba and teach them the same values especially during the dry season.
HIV Aids Coordinator Jane Modong said it was also importance to teach the children the dangers of the pandemic so that they take care of themselves.
She added that HIV Aids is very rampant and there is need to educate the young ones about its dangers.
The organizer said the purpose of teaching children is to prepare them to grow into mature and God fearing adults.
