Lainya County Central Police released 20 Yei boda-boda riders from Mahad residential area after spending one night at the station for trying to kill a person.
County Commissioner Huda Micah Laila said the riders tried to kill one person who attempted to kill one of their colleagues, Easter Radio reported.
She explained that she could not allow people to take the law into their hands.
The Commissioner said they captured the person who attempted to kill the boda-boda rider with one gun.
Commissioner Huda said Lainya County authorities arrested and sentenced an 18-year old boda-boda rider to two years imprisonment for impregnating two primary pupils at the same school.
She added that the girls were going to primary seven.
The Commissioner said she wanted to see law is implemented in the county.
One of the boda-boda rider confirmed that they beat a thief following the killing of their fellow rider.
