Yei Catholic Diocese on Friday concluded its five-day strategic plan workshop.
Speaking at the closing session, Yei Catholic Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe was philosophical to describe the success of the strategic plan: he said the end of one thing is the beginning of the other, Easter Radio reported.
Bishop Lodu said many times the diocesan priests and faithful have the feeling of inability and tend on differentiating themselves from other dioceses.
The bishop reiterates that the diocese is able to walk in its own shoes.
He asked people to have confidences on the dioceses and work hard to implement the strategic plan prepared by the diocese.
Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator Fr Faustino Lumori Methodius described the strategic plan as very important.
He appreciated participants for spending time to prepare it.
Fr Lumori said the five-day sitting was not for nothing but it for the good of the diocese of Yei because the old plans were obsolete and people were far apart in the diocese.
The worksho which drew together participants from all parishes of the diocese took place at Lutaya Pastoral Centre in Yei.
