Western Bahr El Ghazal state government commissioned two teams to assess the situation of the newly created county headquarters of Ngo Baggari and Nyinakok.

Headquarter Commissioner James Benjamin Bobo, who headed the Nyinakok delegation, said they aimed at focusing on the headquarters construction and political and administrative situation in the two county headquarters, Voice of Hope reported.

He said the visit also aimed at establishing the distance between the two new counties and Jur and Wau for the construction of inter-county roads to start.

Commissioner Benjamin appreciated the work well done in Nyinakok.

He said the building was almost completed, remaining only windows and electric wiring.

Commissioner Benjamin disclosed that the political rift against the appointment of the state education Minister in the state cabinet did not reach the grassroots.

He affirmed that floods in Nyinakok had little impact on the settlement and crops.

State Physical Infrastructure minister Zachariah Joseph Garang, who headed Wau delegation, lamented poor roads conditions in Wau County.

He recommended that there should be and immediate intervention to repair the affected roads.

Mr Joseph added that his team could not reach some centers due to bad roads.

The Physical Infrastructure minister said their visit was to assess roads and put plans to start implementing the construction pledge of President Salva Kiir during his visit to the state in September.
