Dalami County Commissioner in Nuba Mountains called on citizens to cooperate to stand firm.
Mana Bashir Kalu asked citizens to work hard to reduce the persistent hunger, Voice of Peace reported.
Mr Bashir stressed the need for Nuba people to unite to eradicate poverty advising them to host the hungry and displaced people.
He called on the people to be self-reliant.
Mr Bashir urged youths to support their families.
Commissioner Bashir appreciated Nuba citizens for being patient and persistent throughout the time of war.
