Authorities of Morobo County of Central Equatoria State said they will soon open a new county hospital to reduce referring patients to other hospitals and overcome high mortality rate in the area.
The County Commissioner Moses Simon Soro told Easter Radio in a telephone interview that they received medical personnel to work in the health facility.
He appealed to the entire population in the area to use the facility than opting for traditional healers who lack medical qualifications.
The Commissioner disclosed that the county community radio will go on air to ease communication between the Government and citizens.
He said the building of the radio was completed and that they are installing equipments for broadcasting to start.
Commissioner Simon called on South Sudanese to unite for a common purpose of nation building.
