Chinese Ambassador pledges to promote relations with South Sudan

The Chinese ambassador to South Sudan promised to work hand in hand with the national government to smoothen bilateral relations between the two countries.
 
Ma Qiang told the press in Juba that he will ensure that the two countries maintain high level of mutual understanding and foster development, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He said his country will work hard to improve political, commercial, economical and agricultural activities of South Sudan.
 
Ambassador Qiang said last week he urged their companies to sign an agreement with South Sudan and send agricultural experts to assess investment opportunities especially in rice plantation.
 
He expressed readiness to push Chinese government to support South Sudan’s efforts to plant rice.
 
Ambassador Qiang said his government would help South Sudan government in building railways.
