Agriculture Office in Tonj South County of Warrap State received 92 ox ploughs.

Agriculture and Forestry Director Daniel Mangong confirmed receiving ox ploughs for the first registered group of farmers, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He said they are now registering a second group to be taken to the state headquarters for approval and ox ploughs provision.

Mr Mangong explained that farmers were receiving ox ploughs with guarding forms and after harvest each farmer will bring one kilo of his or her products to the county headquarters.

Mr Mangong revealed that all farmers will form cooperatives in 2014 in all payams and Bomas so that they get support as groups not individuals.

He advised Tonj South farmers to care for their ox ploughs and produce more food.
