Torit Referral Hospital authority on Wednesday sentenced five juveniles to beating for breaking into nutrition store of the facility.

The children who broke the window of the store and stole a carton of food supplements meant for malnourished persons were set free after they were beaten.

Torit Hospital Administrator James Abwoch told Emmanuel Radio that the children admitted their faults after investigation.

He said the Hospital authorities informed parents of the children in order to ensure discipline at homes.

Mr Abwoch identified parents of the juveniles to be Health ministry staff, hospital, organized forces and army.

The Wednesday incident happened when the security at the hospital was improved following a found-stolen baby early this year.
